Forget Me Not Garden
Forget-Me-Not is a gardening-based project situated at a community centre in the Deane area of Bolton.
It runs every Friday morning between 10am & 12 noon. It involves activities around food growing. Every week there is home-made soup towards the end of the session. When available home-grown ingredients are used.
Our Friday activities can include seed sowing and seedling planting, bulb and flower planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting. People get involved with these according to their abilities.
We have a dedicated & experienced project worker. There is no charge and attendees with dementia must be accompanied by a carer.
Forget-Me Not is a safe and welcoming place where friendships are born in a natural environment.
